1. About Moddet

Moddet is a curated multi-vendor online marketplace specialising in modest fashion. Moddet is operated by Moddet Ltd, registered address: 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

By using the Moddet platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Moddet as a Marketplace

Moddet acts solely as an intermediary platform connecting customers with independent vendors. Moddet is not the seller of record for products listed by third-party vendors. Each vendor is an independent business and is solely responsible for their products, fulfilment, and compliance with applicable laws.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order on Moddet, your contract of sale is with the individual vendor, not with Moddet. Moddet facilitates the transaction on behalf of the vendor.

Orders are confirmed by email. Moddet reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a pricing error, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on the platform are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Moddet accepts payment via the methods displayed at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

International customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their bank or payment provider.

5. Delivery

Delivery is managed by the individual vendor. Estimated delivery timelines are displayed on each product listing and on our shipping policy page. Moddet is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, customs processes, or circumstances beyond the vendor's control.

6. Product Listings & Curation

Moddet curates its platform around intentional modest dressing. All products are reviewed before listing. Moddet reserves the right to approve, feature, or remove any product at its sole discretion, without notice.

Moddet curates and reviews all product listings before they go live on the platform. Product descriptions are created in collaboration with vendors, who are responsible for confirming the accuracy of all details including specifications, sizing, materials, and care instructions. While Moddet takes reasonable care in the listing process, ultimate responsibility for product accuracy remains with the vendor. If you believe a listing is inaccurate, please contact us at hello@moddet.co and we will investigate promptly.

All reviews displayed on Moddet are from verified purchasers only. Moddet does not commission, incentivise or publish fake reviews.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Moddet platform, including the Moddet name, logo, and website design, is the intellectual property of Moddet and may not be used without prior written consent.

Vendor content remains the intellectual property of the relevant vendor, subject to the licence granted to Moddet under the Vendor Agreement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moddet's liability to any customer shall not exceed the value of the order in dispute. Moddet is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from use of the platform.

Moddet does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

Moddet reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify registered users of any material changes by email. Continued use of the platform following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
